Benkadi is a project of Community Partners, a nonprofit fiscal sponsor and intermediary organization that provides us with administrative services, expert guidance, and the benefits of tax-exempt status.
Community Partners is a nonprofit charity exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.

MOTHERLAND MUSIC
Motherland is the pre-eminent location for all things African percussion in Los Angeles since 1992. It is the best place to get advice on, try out and buy great quality instruments and get repairs.

Benkadi, hosted by Motherland Music, have a free kids (and parents) drum and dance class every Saturday 10am-11.30am. The free class is made possible thanks to a grant to Benkadi from the California Arts Council.
